As soon as the second line appeared on my pregnancy test (3 weeks, 3 days), I began downloading pregnancy apps like crazy. Albeit terrified, I was surprisingly excited to see what was going on inside of me.
Some apps are worth it, while some aren’t as good as others. Trial and error right? So, I put together some of my favorite apps for both, pregnancy, as well as for when your little one gets here.
A lot of the pregnancy apps have beautiful illustrations of what your little one is looking like inside your tummy as the days and weeks go by. But this app was by far the most realistic.
Glow pregnancy tracker also gives you a little article each day about what you may be going through in your pregnancy. Even issue that may arise with your significant other during that time. Not to mention, they have community boards for you to ask questions and get advice and opinions on a vast range of topics.
Ovia Pregnancy Tracker
Ovia Pregnancy Tracker is similar to app above.
The Bump gives you an insight of what you may be feeling and what baby is up to week by week (even after the baby is born too!). They also have amazing 3D images of what moms body is doing and what baby looks like!
What To Expect
What To Expect is similar to the other apps above but sometimes goes more into detail and there are videos that explain more of what mom and baby are experiencing.
Time is flying by and it’s time to create your Baby Registry. Babylist lets your create your registry from multiple stores in one place! Not to mention, they give you lists that let you know the best products of the year.
Glow Baby Newborn Tracker
Baby’s here! Congratulations! This app helps you track multiple things for your baby, such as feeding times and how many ounces per feeding, whenever your baby has a wet or poopy diaper, sleeping times, and also for breastfeeding moms, you can track which side baby feeds on and how many ounces. I thought that was pretty cool.
I used this app for the first 3 months or so. After that, Karsyn’s pediatrician told me it was okay to stop tracking everything and I actually breathed a sigh of relief HAHA. It can become a bit obsessive…to me anyway. Still a great app though.
Ovia Baby Tracker
Very similar to Glow Tracker above but this app tracks all your baby’s milestones they hit as they grow. It’s very informative and helps you understand what skills your baby should be learning/mastering or on the verge of learning/mastering.
The Wonder Weeks
If you’ve been here before, you know I speak frequently and highly of The The Wonder Weeks app.
They also have a website that gives you the same information for free but just in a condensed version.
Either way, it’s worth it and it’s still surprising 11 months in how accurate the leaps, in relation to what Karsyn is going through at a certain time can be.
They also have books available too!
Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope to see you in the next post!
